The Eurosport DHS S.A. company is the manufacturer that produces the DHS® brand sports articles. This brand managed to establish itself on the market through its quality - price strategy, as well as through its extremely well developed post sale service system. We are located near the city of Deva, in the mid-western part of the country and are currently the biggest bicycle manufacturer from Romania.

The wide range of products and services, as well as the professionalism and the seriousness proved along time established the Eurosport DHS S.A. company among the top companies in the country. To prove this, we have numerous diplomas and awards granted to the company. The National Council for Private Small and Medium Sized Enterprises classified Eurosport DHS S.A. for the third year in a rope on the first place for "Bicycle production".

Due to the massive investments of approximately 300.000 EURO in an automatic technological line for assembling and centering of bicycle wheels, as well as due to some automatic assembling lines purchased from Holland which guarantee that the quality of the products is up to the European standards, the company's production capacity was raised to 500.000 units per year.

At the beginning of March 2006, Eurosport DHS commissioned in Deva, as a result of a green field investment of 6 million EURO, a new bicycle manufacturing company that can produce a total of 1 million units/year. The 4 assembling lines that are available and the production and storing surface of 17.000 sqm give this production capacity.

This investment was made taking into consideration a very good business opportunity for the bicycle production in Romania. The bicycles produced here will be sold on the European markets starting with January 2007 when Romania will become a member of the EU. The goods produced by Eurosport in Deva present a few extremely important features: good quality and low price due to low costs of the local labor force.

In June 2006, Prophete Gmbh partnered up with Eurosport DHS SA bringing into this partnership capital, as well as over 100 years of experience in bicycle manufacturing at German standards.

In July 2006, the company invested 250.000 EURO in six wheel-adjusting machines that were purchased from the French producer Mach1; a company specialized in production of equipments for bicycle wheels building.

The company staff is highly professional and well trained. This status was achieved by participating, on regular basis, to training courses provided for by the company and through evaluations carried out in order to establish the criteria based on which the staff is being rewarded and co-interested. The team members ensuring the management of various departments (marketing, accountancy, PR, financial, production) are university graduates in their respective fields of activity. This also contributes to the quality of the team.

Our distribution network consists of over 260 companies, among which there are several supermarkets in Romania. The distribution of our products is carried out using our own transport means. Also, the company exports extensively in most of the European countries, the products complying with the quality standards required by these countries.

The strategy of continuous improvement of the quality of our products included several objectives that have already been achieved. From among these we can mention the implementation of the quality management system ISO 9001. The company has held this certificate for several years.

For the future, Eurosport DHS S.A. has set a set of goals, among them the following:
- start up of a new investment project consisting of the construction of a new factory in Eastern Europe;
- continuous improvement of bicycle quality and design.
